Michael Kors launches first childrenswear collection

Michael Kors has released its first childrenswear collection developed in partnership with French luxury group Children Worldwide Fashion (CWF).

The collection, which debuted online and in-store on April 19, includes apparel and accessories for girls ages 4 to 14.

The pieces for the inaugural spring collection were inspired by Michael Michael Kors’ womenswear collection, which included sportswear with the brand’s MK logo.

The collection also includes knitted dresses, wool skirts, floral looks, swimwear, and showcases its signature all-over prints, bags and accessories like a heart-shaped satchel.

The children’s collection will expand later this year to further include baby- and toddler-sized girls, Michael Kors said in a release.

A global event celebrating the launch will take place at the brand’s stores in New York, Dubai, Paris and Spain. The campaign aims to encapsulate the “jet feel” filmed in Ibiza and will immerse guests in an in-store adventure.

The Michael Kors clothing line will be sold through wholesale partners including Galeries Lafayette, Zalando and Ounas, as well as CWF distribution points and the brand’s digital flagship store.
